Fast computing, intelligent scaling, usage-based billing

Maximum power

A GPU has a large number of cores that can work in parallel to complete tasks in less time. It enables a significant increase in performance and efficiency for compute-intensive tasks.

European servers

Benefit from the highest security standards with ISO 27001 certified hosting in the EU. 100% GDPR compliant and designed for smooth workloads.

Billing by the minute

By-the-minute billing means you only pay for what you actually use. No minimum contract periods. Start, stop or delete your server at any time.

Maximum performance for your workloads

Optimise a wide range of processes with customised GPU servers from IONOS.

High performance computing

Process complex data at speed to make smarter business decisions. Whether you need real-time data validation or faster forecasting, our GPU server options provide the right performance level for every workload.

Deep learning

Optimise internal analyses and evaluate large data volumes with ease. Use AI to eliminate errors and minimise risks, giving you more time for your core business. With a GPU server, you can analyse images, texts and other data types faster.

Big data analytics

Increase the efficiency of your business intelligence and systematically access large amounts of data. The performance of a GPU server allows for deeper, more targeted analysis. Standardise data from any source and process it centrally for maximum efficiency.

AI training

Train your AI models and innovations with precision. High-performance GPUs combined with open source LLMs make your data analysis more accurate. Minimise process risks quickly so you can focus on developing your core business.

IONOS CLOUD is a pioneer in cloud security

IONOS CLOUD is the first German cloud provider to have both the C5 attestation and certification in accordance with the BSI's IT-Grundschutz standard (as of November 2023).

The Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue (C5) is a catalogue of criteria published by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) that defines the minimum requirements for secure cloud computing. At IONOS, Compute Engine, Cubes and S3 Object Storage fulfil these criteria, which are mandatory for clouds used in the public sector.

IONOS CLOUD also holds the ISO 27001 certificate based on IT-Grundschutz. The BSI thus certifies that IONOS CLOUD has implemented the necessary IT security measures and an information security management system.

FAQ — frequently asked questions

What is the Cloud GPU VM from IONOS CLOUD?

With the Cloud GPU VM, you can expand your cloud infrastructure with graphics processors from NVIDIA. These virtual machines enable accelerated computing for workloads where conventional CPUs reach their limits. They benefit from massive parallel processing, which is ideal for compute-intensive tasks in research, industry and development.

Which use cases is Cloud GPU VM suitable for?

The GPU instances are optimised for high performance computing (HPC) and data-intensive processes. Key areas of application include: //Artificial intelligence: Training of deep learning models and fast inference for generative AI //Data science: Accelerated big data analyses and complex simulations //Visualisation: Rendering, 3D modelling and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

Which hardware technology is used?

Powerful NVIDIA GPUs from the enterprise segment are used. Thanks to pass-through technology, your VMs access the physical resources of the card directly. This guarantees you maximum performance without virtualisation losses – essential for demanding AI models and simulations.

How does billing work?

You only pay for the resources you use. Billing is accurate to the minute and usage-based. This gives you full cost control and the flexibility to scale computing power for peak loads at short notice without having to make long-term investments in your own hardware.

Can I combine the Cloud GPU VM with other IONOS CLOUD products?

Yes, the GPU instances can be seamlessly integrated into your existing infrastructure. For example, combine them with the Compute Engine for scalable container management or IONOS CLOUD Object Storage for storing large training data. This allows you to create a powerful end-to-end environment for your projects.
