Data centre in Worcester, UK

Location: Worcester Six Business Park
The data centre represents an investment of £21 million (approx. €25 million) in the local community of Worcester. Designed and constructed to a Tier IV standard, the data centre is connected to the middle of the UK’s fibre figure of eight, linking the site directly to IONOS CLOUD’ backbone network with an outside capacity of 3,000 Gigabit per second.
Sustainability is at the forefront of the data centre, with a wide range of sustainable and energy-efficient features, including solar photovoltaic panels covering up to 10% of the energy use at the site. All necessary carbon used for the construction of the building envelope has been compensated.

Data centre in Lenexa, Kansas, US

The IONOS CLOUD data centre in Lenexa, Kansas is an IONOS CLOUD-owned and -operated data centre that provides hosting and cloud services for businesses and individuals. The Lenexa data centre is the third US data centre supporting the investment, success and expansion of the IONOS CLOUD platform in the United States.
The Lenexa data centre has been used for IONOS CLOUD hosting products since 2007 and is now equipped to effectively host IONOS CLOUD products as well, including Compute Engine with vCPU or dedicated core instances; Cloud Cubes enterprise-grade virtual private servers; block storage for high-performance storage; and DBaaS, all running on a new performance-improved network. The Lenexa data centre is equipped for sustainability with a new photovoltaic (PV) installation with over 1,000 PV panels rated for 400 kilowatts.
